Failure. Wrecked.

Glacier is possibly the harshest environment on earth.  After 34 days on the glacier, we're back in Talkeetna.  Thanks to everyone for the positive vibes.  We did not summit.  We did not get on the Cassin.  Full trip report to come.

  1. Hey Guys -

I only know Max, but have been following the reports - so sorry to hear you guys ran into some harsh times but I'm really glad y'all are alright. Keep your heads up, because you accomplished a lot just going out there.

  2. A very very long 34 days. To me, you guys are amazing. Surviving that environment, helping to rescue other climbers- this is not failure.

  6. Please keep stories of your experiences coming. One's narrative is so much more valuable to others than one's headlines. This story is powerful and there is a lot to learn from it. I can't thank you enough, in advance, for telling it. Will stay tuned to your blog.

  7. DUUUUUdddeeee! So I know I'm a pathetic blogger and total slacker - but I just spent the last 45 minutes analyzing your SPOT transmissions and saw what happened, only to log into the blog and see your back! I'm sorry you didn't bag the summit, back I'm psyched your safe and well. Like the Grand, I know it'll be even better the second time around...
